a) Watch the following commercial and answer the poll. NB: the commercial is silent.

b) Using the poll results, take one of your performance pieces and alter it to suit the musical style needed for the success of the commercial. Experiment, improvise, and record your performance (eg smartphone audio recording). Compare this with your usual performance of your piece, fill out the survey below about the changes you made to the performance, and upload the recording.
c) Finally, bring your performance piece to class - practise both the original version and the 'commercial version' so that you can present these in class. Make sure each of the two performances clearly project the musical styles needed.
